The Origins of Roshambo

While this digital battleground is modern, the lineage is ancient. "Roshambo" is the Americanized phonetic evolution of the Japanese chant "Janken Pon!" used in the classic game of Janken.

The term found its footing on the West Coast of the United States, becoming the ultimate settler of disputes. Now, from playgrounds across the globe to this digital Dojo, the spirit remains the same: Rock breaks Scissors, Scissors cuts Paper, Paper covers Rock.
